Challenges to India's Cultural and Religious Heritage

India is home to a rich and diverse cultural and religious heritage that is renowned worldwide. However, this heritage faces numerous challenges that threaten its survival and continuity. One of the biggest challenges is rapid urbanization and industrialization which are leading to the destruction of historical sites, temples, and other monuments. According to a report by the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), over 90% of India’s heritage sites are in poor condition and require urgent attention. Sri Maha Vishnu Vishwaroopam Project focuses on creating a monumental statue of Lord Sri. Vishnu in the form of Vishwaroopa Narayana, which will be a significant contribution to India’s cultural and religious heritage. It will also provide a unique and meaningful experience for visitors to India who are interested in exploring its rich cultural and religious heritage.
